The town of Idro is a calm and relaxing place, in which the homonym lake dominates uncontested with its night blu depths, surrounded by an almost completely mountain vegetation.

 

These elements makes Idro an extremely pleasant village, in which it is quite always possible to breath some fresh air, parfumed by the pine trees thrivingly strewning all over the territory.
The town of Idro is subdivided into different hamlets, among which we mark the historical centres of Crone and Lemprato, leading through their alleys , in a  remote, but nevertheless present and living past.
A wood footbridge, built on pileworks in some  stretches  alternates bridges on the lake, and links through the strand the two just mentioned hamlets.
The painstaking strands are provided with kiosques, and the praks with sew-saws and slides.
