Rocca d'Anfo: Built from 1450 to 1490 it is surely the most important historical attraction in the village.
By elapsing of the centuries it went under lots of attacks and reconstructions as a consequence.
Napoleon had it pulled down in 1796, but it was rebuilt and reinforced in1813, andthen used as defence bastion.
It then became (1848-1866) the stronghold of Garibaldi's army fighting against Austria. Its dimensions are really enormous and its historical value is plenty documented.
It is unique in its gender in Europe, with eight camouflaged and linked one another fortalices, diged at various height points in the mountain as to dominae the road between Trento and Brescia.
It was used as drilling barracks, til 1975, and remained bound to military protection and secret til 1992.
Its marvellous structure and its perfect position from which it overlooks the lake of Idro and the Valli Giudicarie (trentin) make it particularly interesting.
